The Terrace RCMP has confirmed the discovery of the remains of a man who was reported missing last October.
Jordan Straight, who was 32 years old, was reported missing by his employer on October 30th after indicating that he would be traveling to Prince Rupert. However, it became apparent that he had never left Terrace, prompting a missing persons investigation.
Police recently found human remains in a remote wooded area near the city, and have since confirmed them to be those of Jordan Straight.
Based on the condition of the body, police believe that he perished due to exposure to the elements after wandering in the woods for an extended period of time.
They have no reason to suspect foul play in his death.
