An extensive search continues for a three-year-old Truro boy who has been missing since early Wednesday afternoon.
The Truro Police Service said Wednesday night that the search was being concentrated near the waterway of the Salmon River and that the search team continues to be hopeful and will continue their efforts throughout the night.
Truro police, the Truro Fire Service, Ground Search and Rescue and air support from the Department of Natural Resources are particpating in the searchd.
The boy, named Dylan, was last seen wearing a dark green jacket with a number of sewn badges, including of the American flag, a faux fur hood, camo pants, and bright blue rubber boots. He was last seen around 1:15 p.m. near Queen Street and Elizabeth Street.
An alert issued from the Emergency Management Office at late 4:32 p.m. said Dylan has brown hair, rosy cheeks and a green left eye and blue right eye.
