Surrey RCMP is updating the public that the missing 12-year-old female youth who was last seen on May 15, 2023 has been located safe in Vancouver.

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 12-year-old missing youth.
Akila Geng was last seen on May 15th, 2023 at approximately 4:00 am in the 9100 Block of 136A Street in Surrey. She has not been seen or heard from since. It is unusual for GENG to not be in contact. Police and family are concerned for her health and well-being.
Akila Geng is described as a 12-year-old black female, 5ft 1in, approximately 111 lbs with dark brown braided hair. She was last seen wearing a red sweater, red shirt, red shorts and white and blue shoes.
