Langley RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim of a serious motor vehicle collision that happened Monday.
Just after 4:20 pm on Monday December 18, 2023, Langley RCMP received a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at 268 Street and 26A Avenue.
The pedestrian was walking in the area and is described as:
Asian or Filipino decent
Female
Early 70’s
5 feet tall
110 pounds
Black jacket
Black shoes with white soles

The investigation has determined a white Dodge pick up had been travelling south on 268 Street approaching 26A Avenue. The pedestrian was walking north on 268 Street crossing 26A Avenue. The driver of the pick up turned left to head east on 26A Avenue and struck the pedestrian.
The driver of the pick up truck stopped immediately and provided first aid until first responders arrived.
BC Emergency Health Services attended and transported the female pedestrian to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.
“The victim remains in critical condition and is therefore unable to identify themselves,” said Corporal Craig van Herk, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP. “Investigators are hoping the public may be able to help identify her which would also connect us with her family.”
Anyone who maybe able to identify the woman is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
