Kamloops Woman Sheri-Lynn Bissonnette, 57, Found Deceased – Search Ends in Tragedy
The search for Sheri-Lynn Bissonnette, a 57-year-old Kamloops woman missing since November 26, 2025, has ended in heartbreak.
Her family confirmed on December 1, 2025 that Sheri-Lynn was found deceased that morning. No information about the location or circumstances has been released.
Sheri-Lynn was last seen leaving her home in the Aberdeen neighbourhood around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, reportedly heading to her son’s house in Batchelor Heights. She never arrived.
On Friday, RCMP indicated she may have been in the Surrey area. Searches throughout the Interior involved family, volunteers, and BC Search, Rescue, and Detection K9s (SRD K9s).
In a Facebook post, her son Trevor Purpor wrote:
“As of right now we have no information to give to the public. We ask that everyone please respect the privacy of the family as we grieve together during this difficult time. We would like to thank everyone who actively searched and helped us during the last few days. We have no words to express our gratitude for the support this community has shown.”
BC RCMP has not yet released an official statement.
