Human Remains Found in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia – Missing Person Finn McDormand Located
The Bridgewater Police Service (BPS) has issued an investigative update in the search for missing person Finn McDormand. Investigators have located human remains in a secluded wooded area near Forest Hill Road in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
BPS K9 and drone teams were deployed across multiple possible locations as part of the search effort. The discovery was ultimately made by the BPS K9 Team.
A suspicious death investigation is now underway. Police are asking the public to avoid the area while investigators complete their work at the scene. At this stage, police say they are unable to share additional details or speculate on the cause of death.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service has been notified, as is required in all suspicious death investigations, and will be assisting in determining the cause of death.
