CJDC TV News has learned from sources close to the family, the human remains that were discovered north of Dawson Creek in April are those of Darylyn Supernant.
On March 15, 2023 Mounties said the 29 year old from Dawson Creek missing and hadn’t been heard from.
Then on April 19,th 2024 Dawson Creek police confirmed that remains had been discovered near 219 Road near Saskatoon Creek.
A person from a community organization was picking up garbage at the side of road when they discovered the remains. On June 6th. CJDC TV News reported that those remains were of a female based on the bones discovered at the scene.
Daralyn’s father Brad Supernant told CJDCTV-News a month after she went missing “we will bang on every door and follow every lead until she is found.”
At the time of her disappearance Dawson Creek Constable Emma Baron added “we are aware that Darylyn was involvded in a high risk lifestyle. We don’t know if that’s directly related to her disappearance at this time”
At the end of May, CJDC TV News broke the story that Daralyn’s cousin Renee Didier’s remains were found in the Kiskatinaw River.
Three males who have gone missing from Dawson Creek have yet to be located.
Cole Hosack went missing on New Year’s Eve. Dave Domingo is believed to have been murdered after his body was removed from a property near Rolla in August of 2023. Denny Poole, a 14 year old from Dawson Creek went missing 8 years ago and was last seen in 2016 near the Kiskatinaw Bridge.
