The Dawson Creek RCMP tweeted that they were notified of a missing 9-year-old child Thursday morning.
After investigating, it was determined that a child had run away during the night.
RCMP officers searched the area and located the 9-year-old a few blocks away.
This morning, we responded to a report of a missing 9yr old. Our investigation determined the child had run away during the night. Our officers combed the area and successfully located her a few blocks away.
Thankfully, this had a happy-ending and she was reunited with family.
