Body Found in Osoyoos Lake belongs to missing Mexico man

The Osoyoos RCMP can now confirm the body recovered from Osoyoos Lake on August 22, 2023 is that of Carlos Tomas Aranda Burgoin who went missing from Osoyoos on July 7, 2023.

The Osoyoos RCMP are working with the BC Coroners Service in an effort to determine how, where, when and by what means the man died.

The Osoyoos RCMP offer their sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Aranda Burgoin.
