🚨 Police Identify Murder Victim as 28-Year-Old Montana Solomon of Fredericton
The Fredericton Police Force has confirmed the identity of the woman whose body was discovered near a trail on the city’s north side earlier this week. Authorities say the remains belong to Montana Solomon, 28, of Fredericton.
Police found the body on Monday afternoon in a wooded area near Two Nations Crossing. The scene was cordoned off as officers worked into the evening to process evidence. An autopsy is pending to determine the official cause of death.
In a statement issued Tuesday, police said the incident is being treated as a homicide investigation. “Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and reassure the public there is no ongoing concern for community safety as it is believed this was an isolated incident,” the release stated.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests have been made. Investigators continue to follow leads and gather information regarding the circumstances of Solomon’s death.
