Police have released a composite sketch of a man alleged to have been involved in an attempted child abduction incident in Barriere, north of Kamloops.
“RCMP continue to investigate after a 10-year-old child was allegedly grabbed by her wrist by an unknown man, on November 22, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., in the area of Dunn Lake Road and Barriere Town Road in Barriere,” said RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

“Since the incident, a specially trained forensic artist met with the victim in order to create a composite sketch of the unknown man,” said Welsman.
The unknown man depicted in the drawing has been described to police as approximately 40 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall with hazel eyes, brown short hair and a brown full beard about four inches or more in length shaped to a point at the end.
