The Port Alberni RCMP, with assistance from the Alberni Valley Rescue Squad, is searching for a missing 69-year-old man, William “Kim” Donovan. He was last seen around 8:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026 in the 2100-block of Rita Road in the Cameron Heights area while walking his dog. The dog was returned home. He was reported missing by his family later that day. Police and volunteers are concerned for his welfare.
The public can assist by checking their properties, yards, and outbuildings in the area. If you see William “Kim” Donovan, please assist him and call 911 immediately.
