There is another dangerous persons alert in place for Saskatchewan.
The Maidstone RCMP is investigating reports of shots being fired at a residence in the RM of Brittania, northeast of Lloydminster, from a black, newer-model Ford Mustang.
The same vehicle is suspected of being used as someone fired shots at a residence in Lloydminster, as well as an attempted fuel theft in the RM of Britannia.
“At this time, it’s not believed to be connected to the James Smith Cree Nation investigation,” an RCMP statement read.
“If in the area, seek immediate shelter/shelter in place. Do not leave a secure location. Do not approach suspicious persons. Do not pick up hitch hikers. Report sightings of vehicle or info to police or 911.”
No other details have been provided at this point by the RCMP.
