🚨 MISSING GIRLS IN BEARDY’S AND OKEMASIS’ CREE NATION, SASKATCHEWAN – MARY CHARLES, 15 AND IONA SANGWAIS, 16 – LAST SEEN AUGUST 23, 2026
On August 23, 2026 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Rosthern RCMP received a report of two missing individuals, 15-year-old Mary Charles and 16-year-old Iona Sangwais. They were last seen on August 23 on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation Pow Wow grounds, south of Duck Lake. Since they were reported missing, Rosthern RCMP have been checking places they are known to visit and following up on information received. Investigators believe Mary and Iona may be together.
🚨 Description – Mary Charles
- Age: 15 (Female)
- Height: 5’3″ (160 cm)
- Weight: 120 lbs (54 kg)
- Hair: Black and red, curly
- Eyes: Brown
- Last Seen Wearing: Dark-coloured clothing
🚨 Description – Iona Sangwais
- Age: 16 (Female)
- Height: 5’3″ (160 cm)
- Weight: 115 lbs (52 kg)
- Hair: Brown, long and straight
- Last Seen Wearing: Dark-coloured clothing
- Last Seen: August 23, 2026 on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation Pow Wow grounds, south of Duck Lake
- Known to Travel: Prince Albert and Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation
