An amber alert that was issued in eastern P.E.I. early Tuesday morning for a nine-year-old girl with autism has been cancelled.

Kings County RCMP said Jazlyn Blaisdell has been located and is safe. Andrew Blaisdell is in police custody.

P.E.I. RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
