$50,000 Reward Launched in Search for Ontario Skier Liam Toman, Missing from Mont-Tremblant for Nearly 10 Months
Quebec provincial police and the youth charity Sun Youth have jointly announced a substantial $50,000 reward for tips that could lead to the discovery of Liam Gabriel Toman, a 22-year-old Ontario man who vanished from the popular Mont-Tremblant ski resort nearly 10 months ago.
Liam disappeared in the early hours of February 2, 2025, after a night out with friends in the bustling resort village north of Montreal. Surveillance footage captured him leaving a bar on Curé-Deslauriers Road around 3 a.m., but he has not been seen since. The reward, funded by anonymous donors, will remain active until May 20, 2026, in hopes of generating fresh leads.
Liam’s family, who have traveled from Ontario to support the search, expressed gratitude for the initiative while renewing their plea for information. “Every day without answers is heartbreaking,” a relative stated. “Liam is kind, adventurous, and full of life – we just want him home.”
The case has drawn attention due to the resort’s high volume of visitors and the lack of closure despite extensive efforts. Investigators are focusing on the village area but have not ruled out broader possibilities.
