🚨 16-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Vancouver Home After Missing Person Report
Authorities in Vancouver have confirmed the tragic discovery of a 16-year-old girl’s body in a residence on Tuesday, following a missing person report filed the previous evening.
Vancouver Police Department officers responded to a home near East Pender and Renfrew streets around 9 a.m. Tuesday. “The girl had been reported missing Monday night, and her disappearance was the subject of an investigation by North Vancouver RCMP,” the department’s statement said. “The cause of her death is currently unknown.”
The Major Crimes Unit has assumed control of the case and is examining the circumstances of the death, including whether any criminal activity was involved, police said.
