Thunder Bay police say a woman who had been reported missing for nearly a month has been found.
The Thunder Bay Police Service on Friday said that Latanya Tait has been safely located.
She had been last seen in Thunder Bay on Jan. 1 in the Oliver Road area near the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and Lakehead University.
Earlier this week, police said there had been a more recent confirmed sighting of Tait in Winnipeg.
In a statement, Thunder Bay police thanked the public and the Winnipeg Police Service for their assistance.

The Thunder Bay Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing person Latanya TAIT, 25 years old.
Latanya TAIT was last seen on the evening of December 31, 2022 in the area of the 500 block of Donald Street East.
Latanya TAIT is described as an Indigenous female, 5’10” tall with a medium build. She has medium length brown curly hair and brown eyes. It is unknown as to what she is wearing.
