Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 42-year-old woman from the Town of East Gwillimbury.
On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, a concerned family member contacted Toronto Police Service to file a missing person report. Sum Yee LI was determined to have last been seen or spoken to by family in December 2021. Officers determined that her last known residence was in the Town of East Gwillimbury. Due to the significant length of time that she has been missing, this incident falls under the mandate of the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau.
Investigators and her family are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
