🚨 Missing Woman from Toronto, Ontario – Gloria Jean Abotossaway, 28, Last Seen February 14, 1992
The Toronto Police Service continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating Gloria Jean Abotossaway, also known as Marty, who was last seen on Friday, February 14, 1992, at the age of 28. Gloria was living at 90 Shuter Street in Toronto at the time of her disappearance.
On the night she vanished, Gloria told family members she was going to Moss Park with her boyfriend, known only as “Lenny,” and that they were planning to meet a man named “Bob Russo.” She left most of her belongings at home but took her birth certificate and status card—though her status card has not been used since.
Gloria was a member of the Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation (Sucker Creek First Nation) located in Little Current, Manitoulin. Although she had gone missing in the past, she had always returned within a month. This time was different.
Tragically, on the same night Gloria disappeared, a man named David Marlatt was murdered in her apartment. Two men were later convicted in connection with the killing. Police interviewed Gloria that night and confirmed she was not involved in the incident—but she vanished shortly thereafter. Investigators are still working to determine if her disappearance was somehow related to the homicide.
Gloria’s family and friends continue to seek truth, justice, and closure. Investigators emphasize that she is not in any trouble and they simply want to ensure her safety.
