The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing person.

Haftu, 62, was last seen on Monday, September 16, 2024 at approximately 6:30 p.m., in the University Avenue and Gerrard Street West area.

Haftu is described as 6’0″, with a medium build, black hair and a black beard. Haftu was last seen wearing a blue hospital gown, long black pants and a beige baseball cap with a red maple leaf.

Police are concerned for their safety.
