The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 28-year-old man.
Matthew Mangeya, 28, was reportedly last seen leaving the University of Alberta Hospital emergency department (8440-112 Street) at approximately 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023. He has not been in contact with friends or family since this date.
Matthew is described as 5’7” tall with a thin build and weighs approximately 127 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a red t-shirt and he may still be wearing a hospital bracelet.
Matthew’s disappearance is out of character and, as such, his family and police are concerned for his wellbeing. He often works temporarily for construction companies, sometimes out of town. Matthew also frequently uses transit and the LRT system and is known to visit bars and pubs.
Anyone who has seen Matthew is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
