The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 45-year-old man.
Fareed Wijdani, 45, reportedly left his residence in the area of 154 Avenue and 45 Street on Monday, May 17, 2021, and has not returned. He is believed to be driving a 2008 Grey Pontiac Wave with Alberta license plate CGH 2739.
Wijdani is described as 5’6” tall with a slim build, black hair that is balding and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, a blue shirt and wears glasses. He also reportedly has a missing front tooth.
Wijdani’s disappearance is out of character, and he has a medical condition that requires regular medication. As a result, there are concerns for his well-being. Wijdani is known to frequent northeast and downtown Edmonton. There are no indications to suggest foul play at this time.
