Norfolk OPP has issued a missing person alert seeking assistance from the public on the location of a teenage girl.
Avery, 17, was last seen on Nov. 11 at her school on Main Street South in Waterford.
Police say Avery is a female, about 5-feet, 5-inches tall with a slim build and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, white track pants, black winter coat and slippers.
Police want to verify her well-being.
Anyone with information about Avery is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *677 via a cell phone.
Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave an anonymous online tip at www.helpsolvecrime.com to become eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
