Police are asking for assistance from the public as they look for a 22-year-old man who was driving to the Gatineau area, the Sûreté du Québec said.
Frédéric Morissette, 22, of Saint-André-Avellin was driving a black 2020 Nissan Sentra, licence plate No. E21WCX.
His relatives have reason to fear for his safety, police said. He was described as 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen Feb. 3 in Saint-André-Avellin, he had on a black Arc’teryx coat, blue jeans, a teal sweater with a flamingo, and Solomon-style winter boots.
Anyone who sees Morissette was asked to contact 911. Any information that can help locate him can be given, confidentially, to the Sûreté du Québec at 1-800-659-4264, police said in a news release.
