The Nelson Police Department is searching for a Saskatchewan woman who has been missing from the Kootenay city since last Sunday.
According to police, Nicole Boivin-Englund, 35, was last seen at the Dancing Bear Inn on Baker Street at around noon on Dec. 8.
A worker at the Dancing Bear Inn said Boivin-Englund checked in on the afternoon of Dec. 7 and checked out the following morning.
Nelson police say Boivin-Englund is not believed to have friends or family in Nelson and they are unsure why she was visiting.
Boivin-Englund is from Drinkwater, Saskatchewan.
The Nelson Police Department is asking anyone who sees Boivin-Englund to call the police immediately at 250-354-3919.
Boivin-Englund is 5’6, weighs 140 pounds and has light brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, black toque, black leggings and black running shoes.
