Gatineau police are asking the public to help them find 39-year-old Brigitte Barrette who was last seen at a home on Ducerre Street Jan. 13.
The force said they have reason to fear for Barrette’s health and safety.
Anyone who believes they have seen her was asked to call police immediately at (819) 246-0222.
Barrette was described as about five feet, four inches tall (164 cm) and 120 pounds (54 kg) with a slim build, pale complexion and medium-length brown hair.
She may be on foot and could be in Gatineau, Ottawa or surrounding communities although police have not excluded the possibility that she is elsewhere in either province.
