The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) continues searching for missing person, Melissa MORRELL of St. John’s.
The RNC is requesting the assistance of the community with locating missing person, 14-year-old Melissa MORRELL, of St. John’s. MORRELL was last seen on Friday, June 3, 2023 in the area of Thorburn Road, St. John’s.
MORRELL is described as five feet tall with a medium build. She has light brown hair below her shoulders and brown eyes. MORRELL was wearing a plaid button shirt and grey pants when she was last seen, but is believed to have multiple changes of clothing.
MORRELL is believed to be fleeing the Northeast Avalon region of the province to travel to New Brunswick with assistance from an unauthorized adult. The RNC is working with the RCMP-NL to monitor methods of transportation. The RNC has significant concerns for the safety and wellbeing of this vulnerable youth, and call upon the community to contact the RNC with any information to assist in her safe location.
