The Campbellton RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 37-year-old man from York, Prince Edward Island.
Kirk Beaton was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. on January 12, 2025, at a camp near Island Lake Club, off Route 180 in Balmoral Parish, N.B. He was reported missing to police on January 13, 2025. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Kirk Beaton is described as being approximately five feet ten inches (178 centimetres) tall, and weighing approximately 198 pounds (90 kilograms). He has blue eyes, short light brown hair, and was last seen wearing all black FXR snowmobile gear. It is believed he was traveling on his snowmobile to Roger’s Lake Lodge near Route 430 and Knoll Spruce Road, in Northesk Parish.
His snowmobile is described as a black Yamaha Sidewinder, similar to the one shown in the photo. A licence plate is not available at this time.
