The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Connor Beckett, who has not been heard from since December 23, 2022. Beckett was reported missing to the Nanaimo RCMP on December 27, 2022. His family told investigators that this behaviour is out of character for their son and as a result, they are extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.
Prior to being reported missing, Beckett had been residing at a youth shelter in Nanaimo and was last seen on December 22, 2022. He told his family that he would spend Christmas with them at their home in Bowser but he did not arrive as scheduled. Their last contact with him was by phone on December 23, 2022, at which time Beckett said he was in Port Alberni. His parents deposited some money in his bank account but to date, it has not been withdrawn. Calls and texts to his cell phone have gone unanswered.
Beckett is a Caucasian youth, 5 ft. 8. 145 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. The pictures provided are recent and no clothing description was available.
