On October 30, 2022, the 6-year-old boy from Miami, Florida, who was reported missing to the Miami-Dade Police Department on August 27, 2022, has been located safe and sound in Moncton, N.B.
The 45-year-old man sought in the investigation was arrested without incident at a business on Plaza Boulevard in Moncton and is currently in police custody.
The 68-year-old woman, who was also sought in the investigation, was arrested without incident on Village-Des-Cormier Road in Saint-Paul and is currently in police custody.

The New Brunswick RCMP is sharing on behalf of the Miami-Dade Police Department, as there is a possibility the missing child and suspects may be in Canada.
Missing 6 year old, Jorge Morales, was last seen in the 23700 Block of SW 184th Avenue in Miami, FL. He was picked up from the mother’s residence by the father, Jorge Gabriel Morales, and paternal grandmother, Lilliam Pena Morales. He was never returned home and may be in need of services.
Jorge is described as a white male, 3’0”, 50 lbs., with brown eyes, and brown hair. He was last seen wearing grey t-shirt ,grey shorts, and black shoes.

A Florida AMBER Alert has been issued for Jorge “JoJo” Morales, last seen in the area of the 23700 block of Southwest 184th Avenue in Miami, Florida. Who was last seen wearing a gray shirt, gray shorts and black shoes.The child may be in the company of Jorge Morales. Based on additional information provided by the Miami-Dade Police Department, the Missing Child Alert that was issued on August 31, 2022 for the child has been UPGRADED to an AMBER Alert.
