The search for a missing Chatham Township woman has ended in tragedy.

The body of Catherine Boyle, 70-years-old of Meadowvale Line, just outside of Wallaceburg, was recovered in Tupperville on Thursday.

Family members have confirmed the news with the Sydenham Current.

Her vehicle and body were found submerged in a ditch, her family members said.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service have yet to release any details.
