June Johnson hasn’t been seen since a family friend dropped her off at what was the Marlboro Hotel 41 years ago. Prince Albert police are asking for the public’s assistance to help find out what happened to her.

Johnson was 34 at the time of her disappearance on Aug. 3, 1979.

In 2010, The StarPhoenix reported that Johnson’s daughter Bonnie told media that her mother said she was going fishing that weekend.

She said her mother, who worked as a nurse, had quit her job not long before her disappearance, and had been planning to move to Winnipeg, where a man she had been seeing lived, the StarPhoenix reported.

Prince Albert police are asking anyone with information to come forward and call them or Crime Stoppers.
