The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 40-year-old man from Moncton, N.B.

Matthew Girvan was last seen on December 5, 2019, at around 1 p.m., on Assomption Boulevard in Moncton. He was reported missing to police later the same day.

Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful.

Matthew Girvan is described as being six feet (183 centimetres) tall and weighing about 155 pounds ( 70 kilograms). He has short brown hair, hazel eyes and has tattoos of a cross on each of his fingers except for his the thumb on his right hand. He was last seen wearing a long light-blue jacket, a backpack and winter boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matthew Girvan is asked to call the Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400.
