Kelowna RCMP have confirmed that Trinity Erickson and Michael Campbell have been found.
It is not known at this time where they were located however, the two of them were found safe and unharmed.
Kelowna RCMP would like to thank everyone who helped locate the two missing teens.
Friends and family of 14-year-old Trinity Erickson are desperately searching for her after she was discovered missing Friday morning.
Erickson’s mother, Sylvie Chartrand tells Castanet, “she may have slipped out last night. I don’t know. She wasn’t in her room this morning and she hasn’t shown up at school.”
Chartrand has been working with the RCMP to try and locate Erickson, “they have tried tracking her cell phone but she’s only had it on for 8 minutes and it wasn’t long enough to track her, it’s like she’s being coached on how to stay hidden.”
Chartrand says, “she’s a good girl. She has never done anything like this before, it’s so out of character for her.”
Erickson joined the cadets in the fall to follow in her mother’s footsteps, “I’m just freaking out right now. There are so many scenarios going through my mind,” says Chartrand.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Trinity Erickson is asked to contact their local police detachment.
