It is with profound sadness that we let our friends and family know of the passing of our beloved son Eric James Harden.

As most of you know, Eric has been missing for nearly 4 months and York Regional Police have been working tirelessly to find our son. We know many of you also helped with the search and shared social media posts and for that we are so grateful. However, the search for our son ended this past Saturday and we take comfort in knowing that Eric passed away peacefully.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their concern, compassion and prayers through these very difficult months. We would like to also express our deepest gratitude to the Detectives and Officers of the York Regional Police, and in particular, District 1 – CIB Division who worked exhaustively in finding our son.

As we grieve the loss of our son, we would like to ask everyone to continue to help families and police in locating missing persons everywhere.
