UPDATE: Cranbrook RCMP confirmed on Tuesday that the missing woman had been safely located.
Cranbrook RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing person last seen at East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Thursday.
RCMP said Cherry Loughlin was last seen on around 2:00 pm at Cranbrook’s East Kootenay Regional Hospital before she was declared missing.
“Loughlin was wearing a black hip-length quilted jacket, black pants and calf height beige boots,” said RCMP.
Possibly hitchhiking, police said Loughlin may be travelling to the Golden area.
“If you have seen Loughlin or know her whereabouts please contact Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471.”
Loughlin is described as standing 5’3″ tall with blond hair and green eyes, weighing approximately 124 pounds.
