Kayle Speck has been located safe.
RCMP in Nanaimo and the Comox Valley are looking for a missing 17-year-old teenage boy who was last seen in Nanaimo on Feb. 11.
Nanaimo RCMP are working with the Comox Valley RCMP who reported that Kayle Speck, 17, had recently been residing in their jurisdiction but has not been seen or heard from in that area since Feb. 7. Speck’s caregivers and family members are extremely worried for Speck’s safety and well-being, police said.
Police have spoken to Speck’s friends and family members and have gone to various locations where he is known to frequent but have not been able to locate him. Speck is described as Indigenous, 5’9,” 140 pounds with shaggy dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans, a black jacket and was carrying a grey backback.
