Richard Whyte has been located. He is in good spirits and back at his residence.



The Hamilton Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in order to locate a missing 17-year-old.

Richard Whyte was last seen in the area of King Street East and James Street South at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Richard is described as:

  • Male, black, with black hair in an afro style and brown eyes
  • 6’5” tall, weighing 350 lbs
  • Shuffles and drags his feet when he walks
  • Previously suffered frostbite on his feet
  • Last seen wearing a black winter jacket, black sweat pants, and black slippers

Police are concerned for his well-being.
