RCMP confirm they have located Savannah Johnson, who was missing from Grand Lake.

In a release on the night of Oct. 21, Cpl. Dal Hutchinson, spokesman for Halifax District RCMP, said the missing youth had been located and is safe.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and shares and retweets on social media.

Her family is relieved to have this good news.

Johnson had been spotted by police in Queens County on Oct. 17, but officers continued to consider her missing at the time and remained searching for her.

 


 

 

Halifax District RCMP is asking for public’s help to locate 16-year-old Savannah Johnson. Johnson was last seen by her family over two weeks ago. Although minimal contact has occurred via social media, her family and police are concerned for her well-being.

Johnson is white, 5-foot-5 and 137 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. A clothing description is not available at this time.
