A couple of Laval step brothers are back home after going missing last month.

Jean-Michael and Jean-Gabriel Israël, both in their teens, went missing after school on March 23rd.

Laval police spokesperson Evelyn Boudreau said they were found after a tip from the public.

“We had a call at 911 and we were told to go and look in a certain address in Laval, which we did and we found the 2 brothers there. They were in perfect health and they confirmed to us that in  fact it was a case of runaways”, said Boudreau.

Police planned to question the pair.

Laval police are appealing to the public for help as the search continues for two Laval teens who went missing last month.

Jean Michael Israël and his half-brother Jean Gabriel Israël were last seen leaving École Saint-Martin on March 23.

A command post will be set up at the school today from 11:30 a.m. until the end of classes. Students at the school and members of the general public are welcome, police said.

Police believe the pair may have been planning to run away but say they are concerned for their safety.

Jean Michael, the older brother, speaks French, stands 5-8″ and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black pants, a brown leather coat, a red cap and a chain with a cross on it. He carried a grey gym bag.

Jean Gabriel Israël also speaks French and stands 5-8″. He has black hair and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a black coat with a fur-lined hood, black Timberland boots and a chain with a cross.

Laval police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or their confidential tip line: 450-662-INFO (4636).
