Prince Rupert RCMP officers have located 22-year-old Johnsy-Joe Charlie after she was missing for three days.

According to a statement released by the RCMP, Charlie was located “safe and sound” at 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, March 25.

Charlie originally went missing on Friday, March 23 around 11:30 a.m., when she was seen leaving her residence in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue West in Prince Rupert.

Sgt. Jagdev Uppal could not comment on where Charlie was located.



The Prince Rupert RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance with regards to a 22 year old female that was reported missing by her family. Johnsy-Joe Charlie was last seen on March 23 at approximately 11:30 AM leaving her residence in the 1200 block of 2nd Ave West in Prince Rupert.

Johnsy-Joe Charlie is Aboriginal, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a medium build, and black hair just past her shoulders.

Her family is concerned for her safety and the RCMP are asking anyone that may have information with regards to her whereabouts to contact the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-624-2136 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
