Halton Regional Police report Friday evening that the missing 32-year-old Milton woman has been found and is safely back at home.
Halton police are searching for a missing 32-year-old woman who requires daily medication and may be in distress.
Camy Kalala was last seen wearing a white jacket, white pants and tall black boots. She is described as five-foot-four, 150 lbs and has black hair worn in long braids.
Police say Kalala suffers from schizophrenia and high blood pressure and takes daily medication to control her condition.
Investigators believe there is a high likelihood that she may be in distress because she has not taken her medication.
Kalala walked to the Milton Public Library near Main St. and Thompson Rd. North around noon on Wednesday. She was supposed to be picked up by her parents at 9 p.m. but did not show up.
“She is familiar with the neighbourhoods around Etobicoke General Hospital as she moved with her parents from that community to Milton only three years ago,” said Halton police in a news release.
Police are urging anyone who spots her to call 911.
