London police are assisting the coroner after the body of a 52-year-old woman missing since Friday was found.
Karyn Walters was last seen Friday night at about 10 p.m. near Hamilton Road and Gore Road in east London.
Police appealed to the public for help Saturday over concerns for her welfare. Her body was located Sunday evening.
“There is nothing to indicate that the death is suspicious in nature,” Const. Sandasha Bough said in an email Monday.
Bough said Walters’ body was found in the city, but declined to say where.
London police are asking for the public’s help as investigators continue to search for Karyn Walters.
Police say the 52-year-old was last seen in the area of Hamilton Road and Gore Road at around 10 p.m. on Feb. 23.
She is described as Caucasian, five-foot-two with a medium build and shoulder-length brown hair in a ponytail.
