RCMP say human remains discovered near Kitimat Saturday, October 7th are believed to be those of a missing man.
Investigators and Kitimat Search and Rescue conducted a detailed review of the file on 58-year-old Patric Graham, who hadn’t been seen since the evening of September 4.
Mounties and searchers then came up with a strategic search plan identifying 8 possible areas. Kitimat Search and Rescue mobilized 22 members to carry out the search Saturday morning.
At approximately 10:30, RCMP say one of the search teams discovered human remains in a wooded area not far from a part of the Kildala neighbourhood.
Police believe the remains are those of Graham who was reported missing September 7th.
Foul play is not suspected.
The BC Coroners Service has taken over the investigation.
Kitimat RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kitimat man.
58 year old Patric Graham (goes by Sean) was last seen September 4th, 2017 at 11:30 P.M. His description is as follows:
- Possibly wearing sweatpants and T-shirt
- Caucasian looking male
- Greying and brown shoulder length hair
- Greying and brown facial hair
- Brown eyes
- Height: 168 cm/5ft 6in
- Weight: 66 kg/ 146 lbs
