A 27-year-old Oakville woman who went missing on Friday, July 7 has been located in the City of Niagara Falls, Halton police say.
“The service would like to thank members of the media and public for their ongoing support of police appeals for assistance,” Halton police said in the release.
A woman missing from Oakville may be in Niagara Falls, police say.
Twenty-seven-year-old Safa Mushtaq was last seen on foot by her family in the area of Dundas Street and Neyagawa Boulevard on Friday at about 5 p.m.
Initially Halton police believed she was still in Oakville but they now have information that she may be in Niagara Falls.
Mushtag is approximately five-foot-six with brown eyes and has a slim to medium build. She has shoulder-length black hair that was tied up in a bun.
She doesn’t have access to a vehicle. Her cell phone is still active, and it has a noticeable pink, glittery case.
Officers have not yet been able to get a consistent description of the clothing that Mushtaq was wearing when she was last seen.
If you see Mushtaq, or have information that might reveal her whereabouts, contact police by calling 911.
