The body of a male has been recovered near the docks at Ashbridges Bay.
Emergency personnel were called to the area of Coxwell Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard East around 7 a.m. Saturday.
Paramedics tell CityNews that it appears the body may have been in the water for quite some time.
Investigators have not revealed any further details as to what may have led to the body being found in the water.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.
Mark Pearson, 58, was last seen on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 3:45 p.m., in the Queen Street East and Wheeler Avenue area.
He is described as 5’10″, 180 lbs., short blonde hair, last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white writing, khaki pants and brown Topsider shoes.
Police are concerned for his safety.
