The OPP says they have found the body of Todd Walker, the Kincardine man who was reported missing to police on May 31.
He was found deceased in Lake Huron along the shores of Kincardine at about 9:10 a.m. Friday, according to a South Bruce OPP news release. The investigation is now complete, according to police, and foul play is not suspected in the death.
Walker, 37, had been last seen on Campbell Avenue in Kincardine at about 11:45 p.m. on May 30.
“The South Bruce OPP appreciates the assistance of the media and the public with this investigation,” Const. Kevin Martin said in a police statement.
On May 31, 2017 at 2:27 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a missing person report on 37-year-old Todd Walker of Kincardine.
He was last seen on Campbell Avenue in Kincardine at 11:45 p.m. on May 30, 2017.
Description: 5′ 10″, 140 lbs, dark brown/buzz cut hair, blue eyes, wears glasses. He was seen wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt and may be wearing a black windbreaker.
Walks with a limp and officers are looking to verify his well-being.
The South Bruce OPP said it appreciates the tips received so far and reminds residents that anyone with information about the missing man can call the South Bruce or Crime Stoppers.
Search and rescue trained officers have been deployed to conduct a thorough search.
