Prince Edward County OPP are looking for a missing 24-year-old man.
David Franks was last seen Tuesday May 23 at his residence in the area of County Road 28. An avid exerciser, police believe that Franks woke up early Wednesday May 24 to go for a jog, bringing with him his cell phone and wearing over-the-ear headphones.
He is described as 6’3”, 203lbs with a solid build. He has shaggy brown hair and might be wearing dark athletic attire, weighted vest and dark steel-toed shoes.
“My brother, David, has been missing for a couple of days now,” stated Samantha Franks in a Facebook post which has since been shared with several community pages.”He last contacted his girlfriend on Tuesday night and hasn’t communicated with anyone since. Which is totally out of character.”
Samantha Franks also indicated his running route is towards Kente Public School, through Victoria Road, and by the Massassauga Point Conservation Area.
Police are asking anyone with information on the location of Franks to contact them at 613-476-2151.
