Spiritwood RCMP are trying to find a woman who was last seen Sunday, and she could be in the Saskatoon area.

Sandra Lafond, 48, was reported missing Tuesday after she failed to show up for work. She was last seen leaving a residence in Spiritwood around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Police believe she is safe, but said it’s important she is located.

Lafond is described as indigenous, standing five feet, four inches, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. She was last seen wearing jeans and a grey pullover sweater.

Police noted it’s possible Lafond is in either Prince Albert or Saskatoon, driving a brown 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT with the licence plate 041 KIB.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Spiritwood RCMP at 306-883-4210.
